I must confess that in my heart of hearts, I’ve always been a bit of a philosopher. My

lifetime of training in dance has ingrained a love for the wonders of the world. Music,

movement, disciplined education, and the timeless beauty of the human body. It turned

me into an avid thinker, neuroscientist, reader, constantly yearning for more depth and

truth, which eventually gave way to a playful hedonism. I find myself constantly

pondering more sumptuous pursuits. Delicious meals that pull us closer, humming with

satisfaction. Balcony sunsets with colors so vibrant they make us catch our breath. But

most of all, the electric, potent energy that sparks truly unforgettable experiences, our

hearts skipping a beat with just

one look, one touch, one word…

All desires latent with possibility. A philosopher turned adventuress in just a few

moments.

Where will our first thrill begin? Should we wander through a museum, hands and fingers

interlocked while we observe collections of the old masters? Perhaps we linger over a

second drink, building anticipation over conversation. Will we finally give in, retiring to

the privacy and intimacy we’ve desired all the while? The world is, indeed, our oyster…
